CONNECTING TO MY KASPERSKY Kaspersky Password Manager uses My Kaspersky to securely store and synchronize your data across all your devices. My Kaspersky is a single online resource where you can manage protection of all your devices. In addition, you can purchase or renew license for Kaspersky Password Manager directly from My Kaspersky. To connect the application to My Kaspersky, you need a Kaspersky Account. Kaspersky Account is a single account for accessing various Kaspersky Lab services. When Kaspersky Password Manager is launched for the first time, it requires the existing Kaspersky Account or a new one.  SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS *  When purchasing a named user license, a period of use for the software will be started immediately after purchasing. If you have a current named user license at the moment of purchasing, the period for the purchased license will be added to the period of the current license. If you have active named user subscription for the software at the moment of purchasing, the period of use for the software will be started immediately after purchasing and will operate parallel to the active subscription. The named user subscription will become active immediately after purchasing. If you have a current named user license or active named user subscription for the software at the moment of purchasing, the purchased named user subscription will operate parallel to the current license or active subscription. *  Updates to newer application versions are free. MICROSOFT WINDOWS INSTALLATION ON MICROSOFT WINDOWS DEVICES To install the application, run the setup file (the one with .exe extension) and follow the instructions of the Installation Wizard. IMPROVEMENTS * New improved user interface * Option to turn off data vault synchronization. * Option to switch to another Kaspersky Account.   MAIN KNOWN ISSUES 1. If the system date differs from the actual one by more than one year, connection to Kaspersky Account, as well as synchronization and registration, may not work properly. 2. When creating a copy of an application account based on another account from another device, the possibility to save it is disabled by default until any data in the account is changed. 3. The autofill option does not work in applications. 4. Synchronization cannot be performed when installing the application on cloned virtual machines and connecting it to a single Kaspersky Account 5. Connection to My Kaspersky cannot be established when the "Always scan encrypted connections" setting in KIS\KTS is enabled 6. The list of web accounts in the KPM plugin in Mozilla FireFox and Google Chrome cannot be updated until the web page is refreshed. 7. In some cases, the Command bar needs to be turned visible in MS Internet Explorer in order to open the KPM plugin menu. 8. A web page is opened in the active tab of Microsoft Internet Explorer. 9. Grabbing of entered credentials does not work in Microsoft Internet Explorer 8. 10. Autofill and login may not work correctly at some websites. 11. Plugin menu in Google Chrome and Mozilla FireFox is unavailable in browser settings window and on blank web pages. 12. Plugin menu in Google Chrome and Mozilla FireFox is unavailable until the web page is fully loaded. 13. If Chrome plugin installation is rejected on first run, it will be required to install the plugin from Chrome Store manually. . Possible incorrect display of data and its status before locking and unlocking the Kaspersky Password Manager. 2. Kaspersky Password Manager does not support non-Latin website addresses (e.g. http://đîńńč˙.đô). 3.  Incorrect notification appears when connecting to My Kaspersky with no connection to Internet. 4.  It is possible to create a Web account under the same name with existing one through the browser extension. 5.  In some cases autofill may not work in particular websites and applications. 6.  Linking the account logins works unstable. 7.  Upon first installation and until the application restart the Start Kaspersky Password Manager when OS is launched checkbox cannot be selected. HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS FOR MAC OS X For Kaspersky Password Manager to work properly, your computer should meet the following requirements: *  General requirements: * Mac OS X 10.7, OS X 10.8, 10.9. *   50 MB of available hard drive space. *   Internet connection (for purchasing the license, data synchronization across all devices, and application updates). * Supported browsers * Safari 6, 7 for Mac OS X. *   Google Chrome™ for Mac OS X.   ANDROID INSTALLATION ON ANDROID DEVICES The Google Play service lets you install Kaspersky Password Manager either from the Google Play Store app on the device or from the https://play.google.com website on the computer. The following requirements must be met to install the app using the Google Play service: * You must have a Google account. * The device must be linked to your Google account. * The device must have an Internet connection. Visit the Google support website at http://support.google.com/googleplay/ for details on how to create a Google account, link the device to your account, and use the Google Play Store app. To install Kaspersky Password Manager from the Google Play Store app on your device: 1. Start the Google Play Store app on your device. 2. Find Kaspersky Password Manager. To do so, enter the app name in the Google Play Store search field and press ENTER. 3. Select Kaspersky Password Manager in the search results. A page with the details of Kaspersky Password Manager opens. 4. Tap Install on the page with app details. 5. View the list of rights that Kaspersky Password Manager needs. If you agree to grant these rights to the app, tap Accept and download. The app will start installing. 6. If you refuse to grant these rights to Kaspersky Password Manager, tap Cancel. The installation of the app will be canceled. To install Kaspersky Password Manager from the https://play.google.com website via the computer: 1. Open the https://play.google.com website on the computer. 2. Find Kaspersky Password Manager. To do so, enter the app name in the Google Play Store search field and press ENTER. 3. Select Kaspersky Password Manager in the search results. A page with the details of Kaspersky Password Manager opens. 4. Tap Install on the page with app details. If you are not signed in to Google Play, a window opens prompting you to sign in with a Google account. If you are already signed in to Google Play, the order details page opens. 5. In the order details window, open the Send to another device drop-down list and select the device on which to install the app. The list shows devices linked to your Google account. 6. In the order details window, view the list of rights needed by the app. If you agree to grant these rights to the app, click Install. If your device is connected to a Wi-Fi or 3G/4G network, the app will start downloading immediately. If your device is not connected to the Internet, the app will start downloading on the device automatically when the app is connected to the Internet. 7. Click Cancel if you do not want to grant these rights to the app. The installation of the app will be canceled. IMPROVEMENTS 1. Support of Android operating system version 4.4 has been added. 2. Auto-lock and clipboard settings have been improved. MAIN KNOWN ISSUES 1. On HTC One M8, text input does not work properly for some fields. 2. The app is not disconnected from My Kaspersky after Kaspersky Account is deleted. 3. On Android 4.4, if the app is disconnected from My Kaspersky and user starts the synchronization manually, the app may hang. 4. In some cases, the license information is not updated after the license expires. 5. If the maximum number of requests to My Kaspersky is reached and sync is unavailable, the app attempts to sync later without notifying the user. 6. In some cases, after resuming an Internet connection, synchronization does not start immediately if it is run manually. 7. In some cases, if some changes of limitation imposed on the free license are made on the server, they are applied only after the app reinstallation. HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS FOR ANDROID For Kaspersky Password Manager to work properly, your device should meet the following requirements: * Device type: Smartphone, Tablet. * Android operating system versions 2.3 – 4.4. * Screen resolution of 320x480 pixels or higher. * 50 MB of free disk space in the memory of the device. * Internet connection (for purchasing the license, data synchronization across all devices, and application updates). IOS INSTALLATION ON IOS DEVICES To install the application: 1. Open App Store on the device. 2. Find Kaspersky Password Manager. 3. On the app page, tap Free and then tap Install. 4. When editing the name of a web account on one device and simultaneously deleting that account under the old name on another device, the web account can be synchronized without entering the credentials. 2. Nothing happens if the user opens the "yandex.mail" web account in a browser and tries to log in. 3. In some cases, a URL address without "http://" may be imported incorrectly. 4. Signing in with Kaspersky Account may be impossible after changing the system time. 5. If the maximum number of requests to My Kaspersky is reached and sync is unavailable, the app attempts to sync later without notifying the user. 6. It is impossible to change the date of birth after it is saved in Personal Info. 7. The "Copy Name" feature is broken after an identity is renamed or a new one is created.
